How to reach us
Write to fishman56256@gmail.com, saying which archive it concerns and what you expected to happen.
Deleting your account and everything in it
This is a control in the phone app. From the app:
- Open Settings.
- Choose “Leaving entirely.”
- Choose “Continue to closing.”
- Choose “Delete everything.”
Before that last tap the app names how many people are on the account, so confirming it is never a guess over an unnamed number. It is immediate, and there is no undo. What exactly is removed is on Deleting your account.
Taking everything with you
The same “Leaving entirely” screen offers “Export everything” first, and exporting is also its own door in Settings, for one person’s archive at a time: “Everything, in a folder.” It builds plain files — text you can open in anything, and the photographs, recordings and documents exactly as you handed them over — and hands them to your phone to save or share. It is free and you can do it as often as you like, and doing it takes nothing away: exporting deletes nothing, and you do not have to choose between keeping a copy here and keeping one yourself. What a very large archive leaves out is named in the folder itself, not on this page.
The plan
A plan is sold through the App Store or Google Play, never directly. The app’s “Cancel the plan” opens the store’s own subscriptions page, the one place a store subscription can be cancelled. “Restore purchases,” on the same screen, is a separate control that asks the store to bring back a plan bought on another phone or before a reinstall, without leaving the app.
Stopping the plan never deletes anything: the words, recordings and photographs stay, reading stays free, and export stays free — only the answering stops.

These are the same helplines the app itself lists, reachable here without an account. The app’s own page for them says: “you do not have to be in danger to use any of these.”
