How Ethos works
Ethos keeps what one person wrote and said, and lets you ask it questions.
Begin with what you already have.
A chat export, a voice note, one photograph: whatever is already on your phone. Everything it says comes from one of these, and you can see which.

Ask a question. It answers from what they said.
Each answer is written from their own words, and says so: built from their words, not a quote. Tap it to see the passages that were in front of it, closest first.

It is not them. It is what they said, kept so you can ask it questions. Replies are written by AI, and a standing line in every conversation says so. A voice is built only from a recording you add, a face only from a photograph you add, and only after you agree.
